Seaweed is such a fabulous home, best home from home we have stayed in so far. Perfect size , 3 couples stayed comfortably, great location, absolutely spotless I totally recommend this home to everyone. Nikki & Mark our hosts kept in touch from the day we booked our staycation. So friendly and accommodating, what ever you need is no trouble at all to them and they are just around the corner if you do need assistance. A personal note to you from Nikki & Mark and a wonderful bottle of bubbles in the fridge upon our arrival and fresh bread with butter and jam. 💕 Fabulous handbook provided by Nikki & Mark with every question answered and helpful emergency contact details if required. leaflets with things to do around the area and takeaway & restaurant menus to hand. My wife, daughter and I stayed in the property for a week from 9 September 2022, and were totally impressed with everything, from it's position in Combe Martin and for the area, and especially the cleanliness and space. Also the friendly welcome pack of provisions - including the bread and wine. If ever we visit North Devon again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay in the property again and can thoroughly recommend it. In fairness we feel we should mention the only thing we commented on after arriving at the property, and that is that although the master bedroom had wardrobe space, the other two bedrooms didn't. BUT, this is only a very minor negative, and didn't affect our stay, but we feel it ought to be considered. Nevertheless, we would stay in the property again. Thank you so much.

We’ve stayed at Seaweed Cottage many times, yet when you walk through the door it feels like we’re the first ever visitors. The cottage is immaculate and cozy. It’s the small details that make us feel special: chocolates on the bed, bubbles in the fridge, and a yummy homemade Swedish chocolate cake. We were there to celebrate Christmas with family. So it was nice to have a decorated Christmas tree & holiday decor throughout the B & B. We would recommend Seaweed cottage to all our friends and family.
Wonderful accommodation ideally situated within 3 minute walk to the beach and with two parking spaces outside the front door. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay in August from the minute we arrived. So many thoughtful little treats had been left for us including home made bread. The house was extremely clean and the owners eye for detail has to be seen to be believed. Communication with Nikki and Mark on What’s App meant that any small query we had was dealt with immediately. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and hope to return in the future.
We have just returned from what can only be described as the most perfect holiday. The cottage was immaculate and had everything that you could possibly need. Home from home with lovely little touches from home-made sour bread and jam to dog treats. We met Nikki and Mark by chance as our satnav sent us the wrong way. They were very friendly, warm, and welcoming.
Combe martin is such a great location for exploring North Devon.
We will miss our morning walk to the beach (literally 2 mins away) and then again in the evening.
We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Seaweed cottage and can't wait to return.

This is a fantastic holiday home, very clean, tastefully decorated, contains everything you need and more for self catering. Seaweed is a stone’s throw from the beach. Everything is on your doorstep. The coastal walks are wonderful and not too strenuous, you can walk straight from the house. The sea doesn’t go out too far, so very safe for paddle boarding and swimming. I recommend Sunday Lunch at the Pack of Cards (pub). The hosts are wonderful and provided prompt communication. We had a great family holiday with our two teenagers.
Seaweed is an adorable 3 bed house couple of minutes' walk from the Combe Martin beach. It is spacious and packed with all the amenities that you will need. the house is centrally located with shops restaurants and pubs nearby. Nikki and Mark were great hosts, always available and provided us with great hospitality. we would stay there again when we visit next.

Seaweed cottage is beautiful and in the perfect location. It is a minute walk to the beach, local pubs/restaurants and shops and is wonderfully decorated and furnished. A perfect stay for our family of four.
The house is immaculate, superb amenities and comfy beds. What sets Seaweed apart from other stays is not the awesome house but the truly spectacular hosts. They couldn’t have been kinder with perfect communication, helpful suggestions and a genuine desire for us to have a good time.
We have stayed at hundreds of places over the years but the hosts at Seaweed are head and shoulders above anyone in the world. The small welcome touches like (fresh home made bread and Easter chocs for the kids) to the ideas of where to visit and the super considerate check in to make sure we were ok after a particularly windy night all made this one of our most memorable stays ever.

We couldn’t have chosen a better house to suit our needs as Seaweed. It was light and spacious and very welcoming. On arrival we met Nikki just cleaning the outer windows, which is always a nice thing to see, it's not just about the inside of a house. It was very well presented and you would want for nothing living their full time.
We had homebaked bread, butter, jam plus milk and a bottle of wine to boot. It was very clean (spotless) and was set out to a high standard very much like an Ikea showroom, which is what we like.
We felt secure and were able to park the car outside, which is always a bonus when holidaying in the south west.
We took advise for the local attractions from leaflets left in the house.
We would stay again or recommend staying there.
Great house, awesome location and top hosts. The house is extremely comfortable and very well equipped it also has the best beds.
It’s a two minute walk to beach, pub and shops. House has off road parking which is great with tired, wet kids and dog.
Hosts are so helpful, with restaurant suggestions and days out guides. Also the homemade bread on arrival was a delicious treat to go with the wine.

Very well placed for easy access to the beach, shops, pubs and bus stop (which we used a lot to save driving to places to walk the coast path)
The house was very, very clean and tidy on arrival, with some very much appreciated touches, fresh bread, milk, butter, a welcome card and a bottle of wine along with some other sundries, little touches like that show the good intent of the owner.
Very well laid out accomodation to suit our group and the property was very well stocked with everything (and more) that you need for self catering when required.
Our host went out of her way to recommend some walking routes and was nothing but helpful throughout our stay.
I think this is a new venture for our host and I really think she is doing a fantastic job.
We had a great holiday and were delighted that we visited, it was better than we expected and highly recommended to others.

Location was brilliant, right in the middle of all the local attractions and beaches...and a very easy walk to the local pub as well.

We felt really privileged to be one of the first families to stay in this cute cottage. It really doesn't disappoint. Everything you need is included at Seaweed and there are little thoughtful touches throughout. It is a great location both near the shops and the beach so you don't need to wander far or take the car out whilst there for anything you might need. The porch is also great for taking off sandy shoes so you don't have to bring it in. Really loved our stay and would definitely recommend (and have recommended) and hopefully stay again sometime soon! I have to also mention the water pressure which is amazing!!
What an amazing place to stay. The place is finished to a high quality and is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing holiday or short-break. Located just a few minutes walk from the beach and high street. Don’t miss the sunset on the beach or you can watch it as we did, relaxing in the Focsle pub in the harbour. Short drive to many other beaches such as Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Croyde or the harbour towns of Lynton and Lynmouth. We will be back.

The whole family had a fabulous stay at this beautiful holiday home in the quaint seaside village of Combe Martin. The house itself is stylish, modern, bright, spacious and exceptionally clean. Open plan kitchen/diner, comfy sofas and beds and excellent bath/shower rooms make this a great place to relax in. It is in a quiet location, yet within a two minute walk of the beach, pubs and cafes. Off street parking is another tick in the box. The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive to all our needs (including a wasp sting!). All in all, great value for money and highly recommended.
